He said the next four years are crucial to the Kosovo-Serbia conflict.
This, according to Rashit, because Trump wants to become the historic president who brings big deals to the world.
This is exactly the central issue. As I have clearly highlighted during the campaign, these next four years will be crucial to the Kosovo/Serbia file, for the fact that Donald Trump has made it clear that he wants to resolve some of the major international issues to enter history as the American president who brought big deals to the” global scene, MP Rashit has said.
On this issue, Rashi says the Kosovo side should be politically prepared, not one that relies on populism.
“However, Kosovo does not need politicians acting with the mentality “in” in international politics, relying on populism or short-term calculations. Kosovo needs a political class that thinks strategically and long-term, and understands that such issues cannot be used for personal careers. Whatever agreement that happens, if compromises occur, they will be necessary from both sides, from both Serbia and Kosovo. Therefore, it is essential that the Kosovo side be well prepared politically and diplomaticly”, the deputy for Periscope said.
Rashi points out that Kosovo must show maturity and stop personal egos.
The ideal resolution would be a national unity government, where the right people are placed in key positions to cope with this four-year critical period. One must be established for daily political games, because now we are not talking about ordinary elections anymore, but historical consequences that will affect the fate of future generations. It is time to show maturity and stop apprehending the country's future by personal egos and logic “or I, or no one”, said Periscope.
