This is because according to the Regional Water Company “Pristina”, technical works on the Iber Lepenci channel have caused high levels of turbulence, which made it impossible to treat water for drink.
According to the announcement, water supply in other Pristina neighbourhoods will have minimal impact.
“As a result of technical work on the Iber Lepenci Canal we have high level of turbulence, level that made water for drinking, carbon standards and technology we possess impossible. In order to preserve the quality of water for drink, we are forced to stop working at the factory in the causes from which the supply of drinking water becomes Kosovo, Obilic, Drenas and the neighborhood “The” Calabria in Pristinaʹ a portion. We stress that the water supply in other Pristina neighbourhoods will have the minimal impact”, said the CRU report “Pristina”.
