Today, through social networks, I have taken a life threat as a result of my public commitment as an expert on economics and independent analysis that I regularly publish. This threat is not only personal but also a direct blow to the right to speak freely and contribute professionally to our country.

As a professional of the economy, I try every day to contribute to Kosovo's economic development, improve the employment climate, and build a better future for our citizens. All my tests are independent, based on fact, and their only purpose is to help the proper orientation of development and economic policies.

Threats don't scare me and they won't stop me. Rather, they motivate me to continue with even more devotion. But such actions are unacceptable and should be treated seriously.

I call on relevant institutions to take this issue priority and ensure the protection of any citizen who freely expresses his opinion. I also encourage citizens and the professional community to stay united against any form of pressure, intimidation or violence.

Freedom of speech and personal security are the foundations of our democracy we dare not allow to be affected.
