The elected MPs will be seated for the thirty-nineth time at the Constituent session of the 9th legislature today by eleven.

The next follow-up comes after yesterday's meeting of leaders of parties represented in the Parliament, which did not produce anything concrete in terms of reaching a possible deal on the country's exit from the created political stalemate because the Vetevendosje Movement, the Alternative Gux have no votes for Albulen Haxhiu to head of the Parliament.

The Vetevendosje Movement, Gux and Alternatives accused the Democratic Party of Kosovo and the Democratic League of Kosovo of misinterpreting the Constitutional Act on the constitution of the Assembly, insisting on forming the commission for monitoring the secret voting process.

Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Memli Krasniqi has said there will be constitutional violations if he is brought back with the current session format for the proposal and voting of the commission for the secret vote.

While the chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, has said that failure to comply with the Constitutional decision on the country's exit from the political crisis is the first step of the flood of constitutional order, and that the blame for that is Albin Kurti and Vetevendosje Movement.

The president of the latter said the PDK and the LDK have “badly read” the Constitutional Court, and if Albulen Haxhiu is not voted for the Head of the Parliament by secret vote, she will withdraw from the candidacy.

Remember, the Constitution on Thursday has brought about a decision under which the ninth legislature has a one-month deadline for constitutionalisation of the chairman and deputy chairmanship. /Periscopi/
