Federal authorities and leaders in several major US cities and states are increasing security measures and monitoring possible threats following US attacks on Iranian nuclear key targets.
Our “assets are fully engaged. We keep on the watch. God bless America, and all those who protect Father”, wrote FBI Vice Director Dan Bongino on X.
National Security Department Secretary Kristi Noem said, “We will work over and over again to protect American homeland”.
Local leaders and law enforcement agencies are also on increased alert.
We're tracking the ongoing situation in Iran. From excessive caution, we are placing additional resources in religious, cultural and diplomatic sites throughout NYC and co-ordinating with our federal partners”, the New York Police Department said.
The Los Angeles Police Department is also adding patrols to places of worship and other sensitive areas, according to Mayor Karen Bass.
“We will remain vigilant in defense of our communities” said Bass.
