It has singled out the situation as a “classical obstruction”, stressing that the PDK has offered an alternative to overcoming the crisis, but that is not taken into account by the current majority.
“VV's keeping him blocking the House Constitution. This is classic kidnapping,” said Citaku in a statement to the media, adding that Vetevendosje is insisting on its candidate for the Parliament chairman, despite lack of parliamentary majority.
Citaku said the PDK, though it has no obligation to support the VV candidate, but has, as she said, expressed willingness to engage in an institutional solution.
We have offered alternatives by proposing one of the other 40 deputies. We don't vote in dictates, without political agreement. This is kidnapping,” she stressed.
She also said the PDK calls on “Presidents to take a more active role”. /Periscopi/
