Chocolate: Trump could seek quick and final agreement, sʹi gets better Kosovo, Serbia

Political analyst Bekim Colak has commented on US President Donald Trump's pledge to normalise reports between Kosovo and Serbia.

According to him, Trump's commitment to this phase is taking place at a moment when Kosovo is in a fragile political situation.

We're at the bottom of the position we're not getting to. We're in a political swamp that hits everyone and everyone's stable, because they haven't put the interest of the state ahead of their own political interests”, he said.

Colak estimated that Trump's goal could be to reach a quick and final agreement between Kosovo and Serbia,

“If we refer to this statement, I am sure that in the following period we should expect concrete action from the administration of President Trump towards Kosovo and Serbia's parties to prepare the ground for such an agreement. Recognising the nature of how Trump acts, he certainly does not take Kosovo and Serbia for granted and gives them no time as he has given Ukraine's conflict with Russia.
