Chief NATO calls for de-progress following Israel's Iran attack

Secretary - General NATO, Mark Rutte, said on Friday it is <x0 potential” that Israeli allies work to reduce tensions after Israel hit about 100 targets in Iran, including nuclear and military facilities in Tehran. “I think it is vital that many allies, including the United States, work, now for de-progress [...]
I think it's vital that many allies, including the United States, work, now for de-progressing the situation. I know they're doing this, and I think that's the top priority,” said Rutte during a news conference in Stockholm.
“This was a unilateral move by Israel,” he added, stressing that the situation is rapidly developing.
Iran's Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, warned Israel of a bitter and painful <x0-fat” following attacks that killed the chief of staff of armed forces, commander of the Revolutionary Guard and several Iranian nuclear scientists.
Later, the Israeli Army announced that Iran had issued 100 fears towards Israel in response, which were being seized by air protection outside Israeli territory.
Sweden's Prime Minister, Wolf Cristersson, warned of a very serious and tense “situation in the Middle East.
“What is now happening in an unstable region risks making the situation worse,” said Christersson. He added that there is a broad “consensus” that Iran should not be allowed to develop nuclear weapons, but stressed that this issue should return to “thesis of negotiations”.
“The current scenario could further increase the risk of terrorist threats and other dangerous activities,”, it concluded.
