The European Union's “Position confirms our statements that the liberalisation process is very flawed. Unless you assess that the agreement between KEK and KESCO is contrary to the EU legislature, the Energy Community, as it is incompatible with the principles of free competition and state aid, unlike the Kosovo Government, which has not had the will to overcome this situation, the EU has expressed readiness to support this important process with 28.2m euros”, a media communique is said.
Kosovo's Chamber of Commerce and Industry reiterates that the way electricity liberalisation is transmitted with a host of violations for which it has even filed charges against the Energy Regulatory Office near the Pristina Foundation Court.
Also, this decision is hurting businesses by already jeopardising their sustainability and the loss of large number of jobs. The BITIC again calls on the government to reflect on the situation created. ”/Periscope/
