CEC: On July 1st, the application period for voter and media accreditation begins for local elections

The release is said to be applied for accreditation through electronic platform, which will be accessible to the beginning of this period.
The “Only observers accredited by the Central Election Commission will be able to monitor local elections for mayors and municipal assemblies, which will be held on October 12th 2025 and other activities to be held at 38 Municipal Counting Centres (QKN) and the Counting Centre (QNR)”, the CEC report said.
Furthermore, the CEC adds that certified political subjects, NGOs, government and intergovernmental organisations, specialised international organisations dealing with elections and human rights protections, media and representatives of foreign countries can online submit their request to the applicant within deadlines:
- The deadline for handing over the request for accreditment of policy-competerators who will be certified for participation in local elections will begin on 1 July and end on 17 September 2025;
- The deadline for handing over the request for accrediting observers of local NGOs, government and intergovernmental organisations, international organisations and representatives of foreign countries will begin on July 1st and end on September 27, 2025;
- The deadline for handing over the demand for local and international media accreditation will begin on July 1st and will be completed on October 7th 2025.
