Roland Beqiri, a retired basketball player from Peja, has been arrested Tuesday for involvement in the heroin and cocaine trafficking network, which allegedly originated in Ecuador.

The group was allegedly led by Dem Elshani, a convict for serious criminal acts on the run for 22 years. Elshani was involved in a clash with some businessmen in Pec.
