United Kingdom Ambassador to Kosovo Jonathan Hargreaves has been participating today in the Crenare Parade in Pristina, expressing strong support for the LGBT+ community in the country and beyond.
Through a social networking post, Ambassador Hargrees expressed his enthusiasm for participating in this important event, stressing that he is happy to see so many members and supporters of the living LGBT+ community in Kosovo.
“I am proud that the United Kingdom remains a steadfast advocate of basic rights of LGB+ persons, here in Kosovo and around the world,” he said.
I stand by the LGBT+ community here in Kosovo. Kosovo has reason to be proud of its democratic values, which need to be preserved and cultivated,” said Hargrees, adding that each person deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, and to live without fear of violence, persecution or exclusion, regardless of who he is, loves or expresses himself.
Britain's ambassador concluded his message with congratulations: “Groated Kingdom Week! ”
