Labyrinth Centre Executive Director Safet Blakaj estimates that narcotics has become problematic in our country, as its consumption has marked growth.
According to him, some use 20 grams a week and others even more.
Blakaj also said that he has now entered a cocaine project, which seems to be cheaper but that it's actually the same thing.
The risk of using cocaine is much greater than cocaine, because it causes the speed of the process of physical dependence on users, has the short effect of 5-7 minutes and estimates that speed is faster, affecting cells or neurons in the brain”, Blakaj said, adding that the use of amphetamine from Serbia and Bulgaria has increased in Kosovo.
Psychologist Arber Zeka has said that if awareness of narcotics users increases, then this phenomenon can be fought.
Zeka said his idea as a psychologist is to heal the problem rather than run after it, for he said it is growing.
We're talking heroin, heroin use is down, but more is being used. A greater awareness of heroin users than heroin means”.
And the idea that it grew up in heroin users is that anyone who asks it, they see it as a killer. They don't see cocaine killers, and they don't see a drug killer at all. So this is that consciousness of the people who use it, if we manage to raise awareness then we will fight this” phenomenon, Zeka said in Rubik in Klan Kosova, broadcast Periscopi.
On the other hand, he said that if only those who sell or produce narcotics continue to be fought, the State will fail.
But if we continue to fight only what sells or produces this problem, then we will fail. So we have to have a different approach, because we constantly have a stigmatizing approach to drug users. I'm not talking about legalizing it, but decontinating it”, he said. /Periscope
