Tirana today brought together all foreign ministers of Southeast European countries in an event marking the conclusion of the Albanian presidency of the SEECP.
The opening word of the Southeast European Co-operation Process summit was held by Minister Ilgi Hasani, who stopped at regional co-operation achieved so far, while repeating Albania's ambition to integrate in the EU within this decade, broadcasts Kankosova.tv.
Tirana took over SEECP chairmanship for July 2024 -June 2025, after Skopje, and the next one will be Sofia.
The Southeast European Co-operation Process was initiated in 1996 during the meeting of foreign affairs ministers of countries participating in Sofia, while the first SEECP summit was held in Crete in 1997.
