The Constitutional Prosecutor in Gjakova has announced that he has launched investigations into a person with initials, Mr.V., suspected of possession and unauthorized transportation of narcotics substances.
According to the official announcement, the suspect was detained by police on June 4th 2025, around 19:45, on the “Conference of Bujan” in Gjakova, during a routine check. During the search, in his pants pocket nine plastic bags of the type “narcotic-magical mushrooms” have been found, with a total weight of 28.44 grams.
The prosecution has filed a request to the Constitutional Court in Gjakova for the appointment of a 30-day detention measure, while the suspect is under a 48-hour ban, broadcasts Periscope.
It is being investigated for the criminal work of “acquisition, possession, distribution and unauthorized selling of narcotics, psychotrope and analogo”, according to Article 267 paragraph 2 of the Republic of Kosovo's Criminal Code.
The Constitutional Prosecutor in Gjakova has reaffirmed her commitment to the fight against crime and strengthening the rule of law.
