(Updated: 12:54) In the trial of the three accused for the attack on Banjska, police officer Fahri Shala said police officials had been attacked by more than 20 different positions, with light and heavy weapons, while according to him, based on information published in the media and the manner of organising the attack, leader of [...]
The Witness and the injured officer, police official Shala, said that from the arms strikes between police and attackers, he could not understand whether there was a pulse for Sergeant Africa Bulnjak.
“I've put my hand on my neck, right side, rain or a pulse, but because of the shots, the shots, I haven't been able to understand”, Shala said, reports “The Justice Trust”, transmission Periscope.
According to Shala, they had earlier accepted information that two trucks had blocked the bridge in the village of Banjska, and a large explosion had occurred as they approached to verify.
All in his view, after the explosion had immediately begun shooting the attackers in the direction of police officials, and for a moment had asked colleagues if they were okay.
You're all right, because I didn't know what happened, I didn't get an answer, and about 30 seconds we had a fire exchange, I ran into the” truck, Shala said.
On the other hand, he said that this attack was severely injured by Sergeant Africa Bunnjak, and that in an attempt to get him into the vehicle to get him to the hospital, the attackers had repeatedly shot him.
According to Shala, the shots had come from more than 20 locations, from light weapons to heavier ones.
He claimed that, given what he saw and heard in the media, he realized that the group's leader was Milan Radovici.
“Based on the country they've chosen in the village of Banjsk, based on the advance they've done in our direction, behind this terrorist group, with their epithets on them, and I think that even through the media we've understood that the organiser and co-partner of this case was Milan Radojciq, where there's also an area of”, Shala said.
The testimony was given by the other police official, Sedat Dushi, confessing that Sergeant Bulnjak had been superior and that they had received duties and orders from the employee.
According to Dushi, on the critical night, around 2:35 or 2:40, they had gone to the village of Banjska after a tip that two trucks had blocked the bridge.
He added that unlike other times when they went to that village, this time it was very great lighting on the bridge, while further darkness prevailed.
According to him, a huge explosion had occurred as soon as they approached the trucks.
I think I've been raised from the ground, we've lost balance,” said Dish.
He said he had hit the lights not to be discovered by the attackers, as the location of the police officers was too bright.
Dushi claimed that for a moment during the shooting, he had noticed a fear, which, despite attempts to strike him, had not been able to bring down.
According to him, once he realized that Sergeant Bulnjak had lost his life, he had felt shocked and broken for a moment.
On the other hand, Deuce said that his hearing had been lost to 30 percent, according to doctors.
In the end, he stated that even though Kosovo police had offered him a break or a transfer to another police station, he had insisted on returning to colleagues with whom, as he said, on the critical night they faced a major attack.
After the completion of Dushi's testimony, the trial was interrupted and will continue during July.
