“Banjska” A cop relates how they took Africa's body out of the scene at “Banjska”

Peci said that on the cytic day it was reported through radio-connection by the units for quick intervention that on the Banjska village bridge, two sand-filled trucks have been placed and the same trucks have blocked the entrance to the village.

“Around 2:30 p.m., through radio-connection, the command chamber was introduced from the fast border intervention unit that at the village of Banjsk, at the village entrance, exactly on the bridge, two trucks were placed, namely, blocked entrances, which trucks are filled with sand”, the witness said.

The policeman said that along with the now late Sergeant Africa Bulnjaku, Fahri Shala and Sadet Dusha were headed with Toyota and Skoda police cars.

On the way to the village of Banjska, he said they had seen a car called “Glof 3”, in which, after checking the passenger seat, they had found a radio-connection antenna.

We've stopped and verified, searched the vehicle and the passenger chair. We found a police radio link. But since the person in question was not wanted, we got the data and we started, because we've had our colleagues in the village of Banjska”, the witness added further.

During his testimony, Peci said that after they got to Banjska's face, there's really something wrong.

When we're going to Basnjka somewhere nearby, without coming to the trucks, exactly around 20 meters, we've stopped the vehicles on the left side of the road and stopped them one by one. Even the song moved forward towards our colleagues, who were behind trucks monitoring the situation. During the journey, I noticed that something was wrong, I saw that there was a lot of darkness in the village, a little light, and the way we went with very bright lighting”, he added.

Officer Peci added that after he's approached his colleagues, he has told them to disperse because it could be a trap.

When we're approaching our colleagues at the border, about six feet, I've been suspicious and I've said: “We're spreading, that it might be a trap”, said Peci.

In addition, Peci added that going towards the stream known as the “Banjska Reca” has occurred a very strong explosion, which has immediately followed by gunfire.

There's been a very strong explosion at that moment, so strong that even my balance has been lost. I recovered, but the decomposition was immediately followed by various calibre weapons shooting”, the witness added.

According to him, they started attacking, but they were not equal either in number or in arms.

When we were attacked, I, as I said, recovered. Sacrifices have made us strong, and I have begun to protect myself and my colleagues by taking the lead. In this case, terrorists. But we were uneven, both in number and in weapons”, the witness said.

He also indicated at the moment of the sergeant's now - deceased body withdrawal, where he said they had encountered difficulties and that the shooting had never stopped.

So when I put my hands on the sergeant's arm, my hands are warm and I notice it's blood. I took it off, because I said, "Don't hurt him, and I've got him holding his arm on the vest until the car door. But because of my weight and equipment, I couldn't lift. Another colleague picked him up, pulled him, and put him back in the chair, where I took his vest off because of his weight and that the same was full of blood, said Peci.

The policeman confessed that since they put the sergeant in the car, he and police officer Mirsad Kryeziu sat in front, but because the shooting never stopped, the car tire exploded.

I'm in the passenger seat, and colleague Mirsad from the driver, but the marks didn't stop. As he headed towards Mitrovica, they were heard shooting and when we took the road, Mirsadi said my tire exploded”, the witness said.
