Avonet: Measures under the shadow of suspicion, MASTI block monitoring

The NGO network, Avonet, has expressed concern over the failure to allow monitors and researchers of this network to monitor the process of testing the State Math Bridge by the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and innovation. Avonet says they have officially sought to ensure an independent presence in this important educational and public process, although according to them MASTI has given no official response, keeping them pending until the day of exam and in practice blocking their full monitoring, broadcasts Periscope.
This situation itself is alarming and raises serious doubts about the transparency and regularity of the seniority process. According to reliable interior information and resources, there are indicators that a new method organised for manipulation of the process has been used this year, including structured groups that have allowed copying on selective and selective bases, at some testing centres. These allegations should have been addressed through an open and monitored process by independent civil society organisations, rather than closing with institutional deadlock”, the network of nongovernmental organisations reported.
The fact that MAST has not allowed monitoring and has offered no legal excuse for this obstacle only increases doubts about differences with minimum accountability and transparency standards in one of the most important processes of pre-university education. The process of the State Mathura is fundamental to public confidence in the educational system and directly affects the future of thousands of students. For this reason, any indifference for manipulation, even supposed, requires immediate institutional response and openness to external monitoring”, said further in the statement.
Avonet called on MAST to publicly clarify the reasons for this refusal and immediately allow full observation of each stage of the State Mathura process, including correction, assessment and declaration of results. “Transparency is not a luxury, but a legal and ethical obligation, especially when in question it is a process that directly affects the future of new generations”.
“AVONET will carefully follow this issue and is committed to whitewashing all irregularities that may have occurred in the process. institutional silence cannot erase public responsibility”.
