Some political parties have begun to reveal the candidates, where in most municipalities, the current mayors will also be candidates for a mandate.
We remember that the previous VVA candidate elections were Mytaher Haskuka, who was defeated by Shaqir Totaj of PDK.
Totaj received 51.01% of the vote, leaving Haskuka behind with 48.99% of the vote.
Otherwise the LDK has announced that branch leadership has unanimously voted Arber Ismajli as the candidate for mayor of the municipality, while in Decan, racing with Jeton Mushkolaj.
From the PDK, until now officially in the race are Ramiz Ladrovci for chairman of Drenas, while for Vushtrri it is Ferit Idrizi, who targets another term as mayor of this municipality.
While, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo has announced that yet another mandate for mayors will compete Ardian Gjini in Gjakova, Bali Muharremaj in Suhareka, Smajl Latifi in Rahovec, Zenun Elezaj in Cline and the Ramosaj Union in Decani. The former head of the Peja municipality, Ali Berisha, has received the mandate to compete once again for the head of the municipality.
While, the Central Election Commission has announced that on June 26th it will open the deadline for the application of political subjects that will require certificates for participation in local elections for mayors and for municipal seats. /PERISCOP/
