Armed in a Zvecan horse stall

Kosovo police reported that they have seized large quantities of weapons in the village of Vallaq in Zvecan, following a raid between police units KFOR and EULEX.

The news has confirmed Periscope Deputy Police Director for the Northern region Veton Elshani, who said that weapons, ammunition, hand grenades and zoos have been found in a stable of horses.

During two other raids, one in northern Mitrovica and one in Zvecan, Elshani said they have encountered bulletproof vests, bullets and 14 graphic cards.

After accepting information that at a given location there are likely weapons, Kosovo Police have reacted and during the raid on the village of Vallaq, Komuna Zvecan, at a horse stand we have encountered  in a large quantity of weapons. Weapons, ammunition, hand grenades and Zollas are found in two tubes of plastic placed underground. During the present raid, there were only relevant police units and U S-KFOR and monitoring unit from EULEX”, Elshan's announcement said.

According to Elshan, the case prosecutor has appeared at the scene.

We don't have persons arrested, but we have a person with interest in interview. The Founding Prosecutorship is being taken into account in Mitrovica”, the announcement said further. /Periscope/
