Father and daughter with the fastest climb to Seven Summits in history.
It's official! Mrika and Arian Nikci are already part of the Guinness Book of Records, as father and daughter who have recently climbed the seven highest peaks of the world's seven continents known as Seven Summites in history.
They carried out this challenge for a year and 202 days, from January 25, 2018 to August 15, 2019.
This global assessment confirms the remarkable achievement of two Albanian climbers, who in just this period of time scaled the highest peaks of each continent: Everest, Aconcagua, Denali, Kilimanjaro, Elbrus, Carstensz Pyramide and Vincenson Massif.
This is a historic moment for Kosovo and Albanians, as for the first time our country's name is placed in the Guinness Book of Records for an achievement of this level in the extreme sport of alpinism. This record is a powerful testimony to the potential and values that the Albanian people represent in the world.
This record should be especially appreciated because it comes from a small country like Kosovo, a new state on the international stage, but with people proving the world's courage, commitment and standards. For Albanians wherever they are, this success is a source of pride and inspiration, showing that no dream is beyond the reach of willful support and dedication.
Mrika Nikci also became the youngest female in the world to climb these peaks, while Arian Nikci led this journey as a climber and devoted parent. Together, they have proved that dreams come true through courage, discipline, family support, and love of nature. /Periscopi/
