The first quake occurred three days ago, Tuesday morning, about 05:05, with a magnitude of 4.4. The Epicentre was reported 16km northwest of Tirana, near Kruja, in a small depth, which caused the swings to feel clear in the capital and wider.
The two most recent earthquakes occurred on Friday morning, with two successive quakes:
- First with a magnitude 4.2.
- Second with 3.8 magnitude.
According to the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the epicentre of these two earthquakes was in the Fush-Cruja area, at a depth of just 5km, making them feel sensitive in Tirana, Durres and surrounding areas.
Seismological institutions continue to monitor the situation, while experts stress that these are normal fluctuations for our region, located in an area of moderate seismic activity. /Periscope/
