According to her, despite developments in the country's north, Kosovo's citizenship and sovereignty cannot be put into question.
She stressed that the global geopolitical situation is more complex than ever before, underlining the importance of a clear position in the Euro-Atlantic bloc.
The geopolitical situation is complicated throughout the world, not just our region. Perhaps in the last 2030 years, there has been no more complex situation than we are today, despite the Balkan wars. The geopolitical problem network that we're having today has expanded greatly. Albania at all levels of leadership since the prime minister and all other levels is forever as Kosovo's greatest supporter. First we support Kosovo's entry into NATO, and that is: Kosovo must definitely enter NATO. There is no doubt about our support, which will always be unhurried. There is no international forum, where Prime Minister Rama, Minister Peleshi, as well as I, and also the Minister of Foreign Affairs we participate, does not mention Kosovo's NATO membership and the advancement of everything for Kosovo for entering international mechanisms”, she said.
It named Kosovo as a successful NATO project and an example of the organisation's achievements in the region.
Abrazza clears that the NATO membership process is difficult because of geopolitical factors. She stressed that Albania's support for Kosovo is not merely brotherly, but state and strategic support.
The “that Kosovo should join NATO it must be certainly, no matter what is happening in northern Kosovo or not. Kosovo as an independent and sovereign state in a region supporting Euro-Atlantic integration, in a region where Kosovo is the most successful project of NATO, at least since NATO's formation. It is one of the greatest missions NATO has in reality today. He must enter NATO. There is an armed force, which is complete, has sovereignty as a state, has the Constitution, has all elements to enter. Of course, membership mechanisms are very high political level complicated for various geopolitical reasons. Support will not be missing, but Kosovo should never forget that Albania's support to Kosovo is not only brotherly support, but is also Albania's support as a NATO member”, she said.
The deputy minister also cited the international support Albania has mobilised for Kosovo.
With our support is a group of 32 states that will support Kosovo forever and ever. There is no turning back to the Kosovo issue, that should be clear. What other states do and how they are organised are probably their geopolitical mistakes, maybe they are their strategies that think they'll be more successful, but since the world today is geopolitically divided into two different camps, we as Albanians all, both in Albania and in Kosovo are in the proper camp of”, Abrazhda told EO. / EO/ Periscope.
