AAK presents candidates for 11 municipalities

The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo's General Council, at the meeting held today, has unanimously approved part of the candidacy for the October local elections.
According to the official announcement, 11 Alliance candidates for mayors have been formalised at today's meeting in the elections, which are expected to be held in October 2025.
The approved candidates are as follows:
• Nazim Gagica '% Gjilan
• Faithful Krasniqi ão Prizren
• Jamie Murati '% Ferizaj
• Qazim Nimani HINA Mitrovica
• Faton Jakupi Kamenice
• Uke Blakaj Istog
• Agron Kuci Unik
• Vildane Latifi ) Fushe Kosovo
• Bucky Feta Podujevo
• Labinot Bislimi ) Year
• Ilir Tasholli Lipjan
During the meeting, members of the General Council were informed by Mr. Muharrem Nitaj, AAK representative to the Central Election Commission, regarding changes in the Election Order, which includes voting procedures abroad.
And so, Mr. Pal Lekaj, presiding and Mr. Faithful Tahiri presented a summary of organizational preparations for the 2025 local elections.
Meanwhile, Mr. Lulzim Leci reported on auditing the party's 2024 financial mirrors, as well as on the performance of the Alliance's members' appointments to the Municipal Election Commissions (KKZ).
Recent political developments in the country were also the subject of discussion.
The Alliance has become aware that candidacys for other municipalities will also be formalised in the coming days, in order to finalise the party's election map for all municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo.
“The process is developing at a good pace in most municipalities and reflects the dedication of our structures to build a serious and competitive bid for citizens in the upcoming elections,” said in the announcement. /Periscope/
