By the CEC it has also become known that the number of new voters who will vote for the first time in this election is 33,540 voters.
Likewise, the CEC has also made a decision on adopting the list of polling centres, where the number of polling centres in 38 municipalities in the Republic of Kosovo, in which the voting process will take place, is 945.
Of this total number, 907 polling stations will serve for regular voting, meanwhile in 38 others -- from one for each municipality -- will serve only for conditional voting. /Periscope/

Warning from the 41st CEC meeting: Informative report for the Voters List and approval of 945 Voting Centres
Pristina, June 27, 2025 The Central Election Commission held its 41st meeting this year, led by leader Kreshnik Radoniqi. This meeting was conducted electronically.
At this meeting, CEC members were announced in connection with the Presidential List of Voters (LPV) for Local Elections for Communist Speakers and Municipal Countries, which will be held on October 12th 2025.
The voter's preliminary list contains 2,067,998 voters -- that is, 7,870 less voters than the Kosovo Assembly Elections held on February 9th 2025.
The number of new voters to vote for the first time in local elections on October 12th 2025 is 33,540 voters, of whom:
•26,654 voters are considered young people who after the Kosovo Assembly elections 2025, have reached 18 years of age and will vote for the first time in the 2025 local elections; and
•6,886 voters are considered registered for the first time in the Central Civil Register between two sets of elections, or voters who have restored Kosovo citizenship.
According to data from this report, the proportion of voters who have left the LPV after the Kosovo Assembly elections is 41,410. This number involves:
•6,276 voters removed as dead persons, listed by the Civil Record Agency (ARC);
•340 voters removed due to the loss of citizenship of the Republic of Kosovo, recorded by ARC;
•2,967 voters dismissed as dead persons, following comparison of the ARC's extract to the register accepted by the Department of Pensions;
•117 voters removed because of receiving the right to the skills of action, listed by lists accepted by the Kosovo Judicial Council;
•471 voters over 100 years old, removed after comparing the extract data with Kosovo Statistics Department data (ASK) from the population census 2024;
•31,239 voters removed from the ARC, after being classified as unverified persons, these figure in the Department for Production of Documents (DPD) registry, but do not figure in the Civil State Department ( D GjEC).
At this meeting, the CEC made a decision to approve the list of polling centres in the Local Elections for Communist Speakers and Communist Frameworks, which will be held on October 12th 2025. According to the CEC decision, the number of polling centres in 38 municipalities in the Republic of Kosovo, in which the voting process will be held, is 945. Of this total number, 907 polling stations will serve for regular voting, meanwhile in 38 others -- from one for each municipality -- will serve only for conditional voting.
