According to data from this report, 65 suspended police officials had also received additions to specific jobs without working at all.
In 2024 they total up to 55 thousand and 550 euros.
Kosovo police staff was also the beneficiary of this extension. We identified that the full extension for specific working conditions was taking 65 suspended police officials, based on the wage list offered by the KP even though they were not exercising the function and therefore they didn't have any risk. In 2024, additional additions for specific working conditions were worth 55,550, (while pay was being received by 50%, as legally envisioned)”, the report reportedly broadcast. Periscope.
“According to responsible officials it had happened as a result of short time sending lists to persons qualified for additional specific conditions. We estimate that during the year no concrete action was taken to review the issue of suspended police officials if they too should benefit this additional”.

What does the National Audition Office report recommend?
The minister in co-ordination with the Police General should ensure that additional additional working conditions are paid only for the staff who, during the operation at work, face risk as specified in the regulation criteria for the benefit of this surplus.
What does paying additions include for specific working conditions?
The report says that setting (QRK) no. 08/2023 Public Sector Employment Additional at Article 6 points 1 stipulates that the extension for specific working conditions is an additional monthly supplement to public officials and other employees who are exposed to increased risklessness at work or have specific working conditions that endanger life and/or health. And Article 2 points 6 specifys that the categories of positions that will receive this addition must meet the criteria as follows: the investigation into the field, where, due to duty, directly confront the risk of life during work; and ▪ carrying out tasks in dangerous operations which, due to duty, face directly the risk of life during work.
