Casa worked at the Spaci mine and was home about 0100 after midnight. From preliminary data, police suspect that the murder is linked to an early revenge conflict dating back to 1994, the Top Channel broadcast.
Peter Casa is the third victim of this family in this bloody chain. In 1994, Ndué Kaza é former chief of crimes at Runren é was killed in the middle of town, a crime suspected by the Djind brothers. In 1997, in retaliation, Martin Kaza executed two Djind brothers and was sentenced to 22 years in prison. The series of tragic events followed in April 2024 in Belgium, when Agustin Kaza, Peter's brother, was killed at a local Albanian in Brussels.
Lezha police have set up checkpoints and have been working on author identification, while investigations have focused on the blood feud, which has been continuing for more than three decades./Periscopi/
