According to the report, the anti-commercial unit has suggested that the control was undertaken as a result of earlier seizures of counterfeit commercial brands, which were said to constitute violations of intellectual property rights.
Dogana said it remains committed to the fight against counterfeiting and protecting the market from products that violate the legitimate right of owners of commercial brands.
“Today, Kosovo Customs Anti-Socieband units, in the continuation of their activities for the protection of intellectual property rights (DPI), have conducted a targeted check on an business subject in the town of Gjilan. The control has been undertaken as a result of previous seizures of counterfeit commercial goods, which constitute intellectual property rights violations. During this search, some 400 textile articles have been identified and seized, with the belief that they are products violating trade brands protected with the DPI”, are said to be in Customs's announcement.
Dogana suggested that in a preliminary communique that about 18 thousand undeclared euros have been seized Tuesday at the border checkpoint in Vllmica.
