Thus has the Kosovo Statistics Agency (ASK) announced, which stressed that during the same period over 9,000 people migrated.
After the assessment, during 2024, Kosovo's population had a natural growth of 10,888. Their homes were replaced by 21,513. In turn, 9,038 people migrated to Kosovo. As long as 37,451 inhabitants emigrated”, the AK announced.
According to this Agency, the International Migration Bilanc (Neto migration) for 2024 was -28,413 people.
As a result, Kosovo's residential population in 2024 was reduced to 17,525 residents”.
The AKS also says that Kosovo's estimated population for 2023 was 1,603,115, while for 2024 it was 1 million and 555 thousand resident.
