Following further verification and exchange of information with Kosovo's law enforcement authorities, it proved that the 25-year-old was on the run by the Mitrovica Court for two criminal acts, one in the field of narcotics and another for minor injuries, broadcasts Periscope.
Albania's police have seized alleged forged documents, while Interpol Tirana has launched procedures for his extradition to Kosovo, in close co-operation with authorities there.
The operation comes as part of the stepped-up measures for ensuring border security and preventing those with criminal precedents aiming to move illegally.
