At least 25 killed by Israeli attacks on Gaza

The official of this agency, Mohammad al-Mughayir, told AFP that 15 people were killed and another 60 were injured while waiting for assistance in the Netzarim Corridor, in the central part of Gaza, where thousands of people gather daily in hopes of receiving food.
The Israeli Army said it is investigating reports of deadly attacks near aid centres.
Bassam Abu Shaar, an eyewitness, said that thousands had gathered at night in hopes of receiving help from the headquarters operated by a foundation supported by Israel and the United States when it opened in the morning.
About 0100 [in local time], they started shooting at us. Later, the fire was intensified by tanks and aircraft”, he told AFP.
In recent weeks, dozens of Palestinians have been killed trying to reach relief centres in Gaza.
In March, Israel imposed a general blockade for entry of aid into Palestinian territory and partially removed it at the end of May.
Since then, Israel-backed and US Humanitarian Gas Foundation has started distribution of aid and chaotic scenes have been seen before its centres.
United Nations agencies and other large aid organisations have refused to cooperate with this foundation, voicing concerns that it was created to help Israel achieve its military goals, reports the REL.
