It was really sad for both me and my associates and members of my government cabinet to report Dr. Bujar Bukoshi. A host of memories and episodes of experiences came back to mind, especially from the period of the 1990 ' s, when Dr. Bukoshi was prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo.

As a government in Exill, the government headed by Dr. Bukoshi was an extraordinary government, but it was naturally extraordinary, since its historical context was also built by circumstances of a very extraordinary time, as was our state at the time, the Republic of Kosovo, as the first republic and as a republic of resistance. Just because of circumstances and conditions so difficult to act politically in Kosovo in the last decade of the 20th century, Dr. Bujar Bukoshi and the generation of politicians he belonged to has a special value among modern generations of Albanian policymakers.
