The action on removing this barricade, which was once decided by the so-called <x0rost bridge”, was removed from the same one, and lasted about four hours, while no incidents were recorded.
During this action, increased forces of the Kosovo Police and Italian Carabinieri had been observed on the bridge, which did not allow the presence of citizens near the bridge.
Otherwise, the removal of the barricade, which had long divided the town of Mitrovica and prevented freedom of movement, was made by two excavers who had come from the north.
After that, a park was built and then a wall. Both have been removed, but the bridge again was not issued with the argument that the European Union is renewing it. It's been there for a long time, but it hasn't been released. / KP
