He stressed that Moscow is avoiding real opportunities to end war fairly and steadily.
“I was in Ankara yesterday and was hosted by Erdogan and ready for a direct meeting with Putin in either Ankara or Istanbul, not just for a meeting but to resolve important issues, but he did not agree on anything. Putin was clearly seen as a low-level delegation, and none of them could make decisions in Russia. Our priority is to have a complete and unconditional ceasefire, as well as fair. The murders must end, if Russia's representatives in Istanbul today do not agree then 100% clear that Putin continues to undermine diplomacy, and if that is not happening, it needs a result and should start with ceasefire<1>
