Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama has made a summary of yesterday's European Political Community summit that brought leaders from the continent to Tirana.
“M LEARNING and with the pride of a historic day in Europe in Albania, I wish you a good day of”, Rama wrote today.
The leaders of 47 European countries and organisations yesterday were welcomed by Rama as a host.
This year's European Political Community met under the motto “
The main theme of this summit was Europe's democratic security and sustainability, including Russia's aggressive fight against Ukraine.
The summit was held at a time when Ukraine and Russia seek peace talks since the early days of the conflict. However, European leaders yesterday denounced Russian President Vladimir Putin's unwillingness to truly commit to peace in Ukraine. /Periscope/
