During a wide international operation called “RapTor”, Europol and the numerous legal authorities have arrested 270 individuals involved in criminal networks operating at “dark web”.
The operation involved various states, including the United States, where most arrests were carried out, as well as other countries such as Switzerland, Germany and Belgium, reports Topchannel, broadcast Periscope.
During the operation, over 2 tonnes of drugs have been seized, including amphetamine, cocaine, ketamine, opium and cannabis. Over 180 firearms have been confiscated.
Also, over 184m euros have been seized in cash and cryptovaluta.
Europol seized 12 500 counterfeit products and over 4 tonnes of illegal tobacco.
