A woman in Gjakova reported on May 13th 2025 that her car plates were stolen, but after police investigations it was found not to be a robbery.

According to the Kosovo Police's announcement, investigations have revealed that the plates were confiscated by the authorities of another state.

During the interview on May 17th, the suspect has acknowledged the actual circumstances of the case.

After consulting with the state prosecutor against it, the procedure for false tinging has been initiated, but it has been released in regular procedure”, police reports./Periscopi/
