Israeli forces have opened fire on an object in the occupied West Coast, under which international diplomatic delegations were located, local Palestinian media report.
According to data from the Woods News Network and Palestinian Information Center network, Israeli soldiers have shot at least five times in the direction of the delegation at the moment they were located near the eastern entrance to the camp. So far there's no confirmed information to hurt, writes Skynews.
The delegation consisted of over 25 ambassadors and diplomats from the European Union and Arab states, while the purpose of their visit was to see closely the difficult living conditions of Palestinian civilians under the siege of the Israeli Army.
There were journalists with the delegation, and according to Palestinian news agency Wafa, a meeting was also scheduled with Jenni's governor.
The Yeni camp has been in a strong Israelite military blockade for days. Israeli forces regularly conduct raids and use heavy military equipment, including fears and armoured vehicles. The goal of an international diplomatic delegation further increases tensions and raises concern for the security of international representatives in the occupied territories.
So far, there has been no official reaction from the Israeli side, nor any comment from the European Union.
