As we have reported, the two people killed in a Washington DC shooting were named by Israeli Foreign Minister Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Lynn Milgrim.
Both worked at Israel Embassy in Washington DC, reports BBC, broadcast Periscope.
They were a couple, according to Israel's ambassador to the United States, who said the young man had bought a ring this week and was planning to propose marriage in Jerusalem next week.
The duo had been at an event organised by the American Jewish Committee at the Hebrew Museum in the capital. It was described as a cocktail evening for young Jewish professionals and open to the diplomatic community of DC. The organiser says the event was intended to help people in Gaza.
They were shot dead around 21:05 local time (02:05 BST) as they left the event. /Periscope/
