Who's Vice-Canter Lars Klingbeil?

Finance Minister Vice-Kancelar, ruling coalition negotiator for the SPD: Almost without feeling Lars Klingbeil in a short time has returned to the head of the Social Democrats. On Monday (4.05.2025) this week's Lars Klingbeil, the co-chairman of the Social Democrat Party (SPD), appears in the former gasmeter of a former industrial complex in Berlin in front of 500 guests and journalists. They all want to be present during the signing of the coalition agreement with the cysian Democrat/Christian conservatives (CDU/CSU).
Klingbeil addresses those present with very few words: “This government must be successful. It must come up with a team spirit, with courage for changes and more trust in citizens and citizens.” He also adds that faith is created in action, not in statements. That's it.
Klingbeil's seal on the cabinet list
Shortly before Klingbeil had announced the names of government members from the SPD ranks. What is surprising on this list are the new social ministers and ministers, who start working now in the new coalition with the German conservatives. The list does not include Svenja Schulze, the minister for the environment for many years and then the development minister. And it's not part of the team, nor is it Labour Minister Hubert Hale.
Boris Pistorius, the only one left in office by the previous government
Only Boris Pistorius, the defence minister, will continue to be minister in the cabinet of the new Christian Democrat Chancellor Friedrich Merz. Everyone else is new in their posts. So it should be a new beginning in terms of staff composition. And Klingbeil conceived this new beginning. He's one of the two SPD heads. Klingbeil will be vice-cencelar and possibly one of the most powerful ministers. His colleague at the helm of the SP, the oldest German democratic party, Saskia Esken, does not get a post, writes. DW, broadcast Periscope.
From the SPD's fortifications, Low Saxony
47 is the powerful young man of the Social Democrats. And he comes from Lower Saxonia, like many other leading SPD politicians in recent decades. At first, his career seemed typical of a Social Democrat: Professional military father in Bundeswehr, sales mother. The family lives in Münster, where there's one of the biggest Bundeswehr centres throughout Germany. Klingbeil's training and civil service took him to Hannover, where he served in the train station mission (Bhnofmission). During this time he established the first important political contacts. Klingbeil, among other things, worked in 2001 to 2003 in the electoral office of former Social-Democrat candidate Gerhard Schröder, who in this period ruled with the ecologist party.
A turn in New York
There is an important turn in the life of young Klingbeil: During the formidable terrorist attacks of 11 2001 he is in New York, his critical attitude towards Bundeswehr changes. Since then he has been engaged in increasing expenses for the military, as do many other right-wing SPD politicians.
A Persistent Partial Career Up to It Top
His course of studies is similar to that of many other Social Democrats: In 2004, it completes political science studies in Hanover, while receiving a scholarship from the nearby SPD foundation, Friedrich-Ebert. Since 2005, at the age of 27, he enters Bundestag instead of a colleague who withdrew, but in the same year loses his mandate in the new Bundestag elections. Since 2009, he has been a member of parliament, becomes secretary-general of the SPD, and eventually in December 2021, also co-chairman of the party in the province of Saskia Eskent. In that position he is also responsible for the election campaign for parliamentary elections in February 2025 with the worst score in history for the SPD with only 16.4 per cent. The party ranks third after the CDU conservative union / CSU and the extremist right-wing alternative party for Germany (AfD). And that result, even though the Social Democrats were in the position of Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
A Coalition Creation in a Surprising Silence
But Klingbeil manages to prevent this electoral failure from bonded to his person. Soon it creates a confidence report with the election winner Christian Democrat Friedrich Merz, negotiates the coalition agreement almost silently, and now starts his career in the new federal government.
Little was the attention of a man who was six and a half feet [1.96 m] long when he spoke up that a cancer has successfully passed. Ten years ago he was ill with cancer in his tongue, but he overcame it completely, he recently made public. Klingbeil has been married since 2019 and has a son almost one year old. From his private life it is known that in youth he was introduced to the rock band “Sleeping Silence”, and as a youth, it looked like a tick to a Piercing in the eyebrow.

Many opened shipyards in the new government
From time with band “Sleeping Silence” testifies today to the guitars in his office. But Lars Klingbeil's life from now on will no longer continue so quietly. His task, among other things, will be to present ideas on how the 500 billion-euro special fund approved in the previous parliament will be used. Everyone wants to take advantage of this money: Landes and municipalities, railways, schools, children's gardens and others. After years of continuing squabble among former coalition parties The SPD, ecologist and liberal-democrat he now with Friedrich Merz must demonstrate his calm mode of communication will certainly help Klingbeil in this regard. /Periksopi/
