President of the United States, Donald Trump, called India's confirmed military operation against Pakistan “a disgrace” and that he just learned about the news prior to his event at the Oval Office on Tuesday evening.
“I just hope it ends too soon,” Trump said.
The US State Department also said that “is closely monitoring developments”, according to a spokesman Tuesday.
State Secretary Marco Rubio spoke to senior officials from both countries last week, as tensions escalated rapidly after a massacre in India-controlled Kashmir.
