The brief meeting in Saudi Arabia comes after the US lifted sanctions on Syria. Trump says the move has been designed to give them a chance to magnify”, reports the BBC, broadcast Klankosova.tv.
On a four-day visit to the Middle East, Trump also spoke at a summit of Gulf leaders earlier, repeating that he wants to reach an agreement with Iran, but they must stop “the sponsorisation of terror”.
Trump is now going to Qatar where he will be at a state dinner.
