European Commission President Ursula von der Leyeen has reacted after US President Donald Trump's more than two-hour call to Russia's president, Vladimir Putin.
She, through a post in X, thanked Trump for his efforts to reach a ceasefire in Ukraine.
“I want to thank President Trump for his diligent efforts to bring a truce to Ukraine”, Von der Leyeen wrote.
Among other things, she said it is important that the US remain committed to this effort.
