Five transport companies in Gjilan are fined for lack of technical bus control

Police have announced that increased controls have been conducted in the vehicles of local international public transportation operators from Kosovo to international lines in the region of Gjilan on Tuesday and Wednesday. “During checks carried out at various checkpoints, several buses on these lines have been stopped, and after verifying the necessary documentation, it has been found that some of them were circulated in the streets without a six-month technical checkup, a legal obligation specified with the Law on Automs No. 05 L-123 in the Republic of Kosovo. As a result, the Police Units of Road Communications in Gjilan have imposed five (5) fines on legal persons, representatives of transport companies, as well as five (5) fines against physical persons (directors of passenger transport) involved in the event, in line with legal provisions in force. ”
