Tirana expects European leaders tomorrow, for the European Political Community Summit, held for the first time in Albania.
Some of the European prime ministers are expected to arrive today to hold meetings with Prime Minister Edi Rama, writes TOP Channel.
This Thursday, a day before the European Political Community Summit comes British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
From Tirana, he is expected to announce further measures to prevent illegal migration and to crack down on criminal organisations involved in trafficking people towards Great Britain.
The arrival of participants at the summit will be ahead of the National Museum to address the Opera building from which they would welcome Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Then everyone will head to the facilities specially built for this summit after Skenderbe's monument.
The frontal part of this environment is dressed in drawing Albanian students how they perceive Europe.
Initially, leaders will gather at a plenary session dedicated to security and a common vision for Europe's future.
Then, three high-level tables on topics will be held: Europe's security and democratic sustainability; competitiveness and economic security include mobility challenges as well as empowering young people.

The summit programme starts at 10:00 with the arrival of delegations and statements for the media, followed by the official opening ceremony at 11:00 and family photography at 11:30.
Later, the first plenary session, an official lunch and thematic table will be held. In the afternoon there will be bilateral meetings between the delegation leaders and a closed plenary session.
The event will conclude with a joint press conference at 6:30 by Albania's prime minister and the prime minister of Denmark, host country of the upcoming summit. / TCH/
