The session is scheduled to continue at 11:00.
Even the last attempt at the institution, held on Tuesday, has failed, as the Parliament failed to form the secret vote commission either. This step is needed to elect the Speaker of the Parliament.
In Tuesday's vote, only 55 deputies -- 54 of them voted in favour -- one was against, and there was no abstention. The rest of the MPs did not participate in the vote at all, causing the necessary quorum to be lacking. As a result, the head of the session, Avni Dehari, announced its suspension, warning that it will continue Thursday at the same hour.
In an attempt to unblock the situation, MP Albulen Haxhiu '%, who is Vetevendosje's candidate for the post of chief parliament, urged her colleagues to allow the commission's vote for a secret vote.
"Despite personal attitudes and what happened in the past, we are very open to co-operating with political subjects, but we will never accept their unreasonable, unwarranted demands, which do not apply either to the Constitution or to the Constitutional Court”," Haxhiu said, who is currently in charge of justice.
Despite appeals for co-operation and political openings, the Assembly is continuing to remain paralyzed for more than three months after the elections, and all attention is now on tomorrow, to see whether the legislature will finally receive institutional form./Periscopi/
