As reported on May 19, 2025, Around 10:30, on the “Butofci” street, near the waste depot, a citizen noticed a black bag in which there was suspected a dead baby.
According to sources from the Prosecutor's Office, the moment the citizen approached, he found that there was actually a newborn baby in the bag, without signs of life, abandoned terribly.
Medical assistance has immediately been sought, and emergency units have been called to the scene, while relevant authorities have been seen at the scene, launching investigative actions to whiteen the case's circumstances.
The reason the baby was brought to that location and the identity of the person who abandoned it remains unclear.
