The energy sector situation is serious and close to an economic disaster
The increase of up to 200% of the energy price for producers is leading many companies towards banking. These businesses represent about 70% of private sector employment and contribute to over 50% of Kosovo's GDP.
Liberalisation without fair transition, without dialogue, without evidenced analysis and without support is the recipe for destabilisation.
The government needs to hear the voice of those who employ thousands of citizens rather than stigmatize as enemies of the state.
Reform requires responsibility, not arrogance.
