Spahiu after meeting Djuric: This meeting is a major step for Kosovo

Necmetdin Spahiu has attended a conference in Belgrade, where he met with Serbian Minister Marko Djuric.

Spahiu in interview on show “Info Night” in Tv1 has declared that Djuric has met to ensure international recognition.

“This meeting has been made because recently one of the most serious situations in which you cannot achieve it is to ensure Serbia's recognition dialogue with them and it was a private meeting where a city that is still not recognised by Serbia is still pending, and this meeting is a major step for Kosovo”, Spahiu said.

He has indicated that with the minister they have discussed the problems that exist in the Balkan region, as well as dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.

“I was invited to the meeting, we stayed and talked about an hour for the challenges in the region, about the problems that exist in the Balkan region, about dialogue on Kosovo relations, about interethnic relations, many people think I've missed a mission to secure Kurti's vote, but that in the discussion we don't have these types of talks”, Spahiu is quoted as saying./Periscopi/
