A ship carrying aid and volunteers to Gaza was attacked by fears in international waters outside Malta early Friday, the group that organised the mission said.
The Coalition of Freedom Fleet, the aid group leading the mission, blamed Israel for the attack but did not prove that claim, writes NBC News, broadcast Periscope.
The attack came exactly two months after Israel imposed a complete blockade for the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza, including food, medicine and other critical supplies.
Freedom Fleet Coalition posted video footage early Friday X showing a fire in “Conscience”- name of the ship struck by the alleged drone attack with volunteers from more than 21 countries who had boarded Malta for the Gaza mission.
